For more information, call Geoff Simmons 02 6027 1742 or John Donnelly 02 6027 1485. Volunteers wantedThe committee has been working hard for the last 11 months to put the festival together and by the time March comes around we will be nearly out of steam! Nearly, but not quite because at that time a whole army of volunteers come to the fore on the weekend to make the festival happen. If you would like to come and be a part of the festival in a volunteer capacity then your help would be really appreciated. We can't give you free tickets or T-shirts but we can give you a good time and a good feeling! No job requires any specialist skills (just take a look at the committee!) just some one who can keep a cool head and keep smiling in the heat of the moment. From moving chairs to checking tickets and anything in between. If you think you would like to be involved or want to ask a few questions before making any commitments please call Kirsten on 6027 1447. Billets for performersIf you have spare space in your home and would like to host a performer please call Kirsten (6027 1447) to see what is required. Streetscape and Street ClosuresVisitors to this year's festival should notice a colourful difference to Yackandandah's historic streetscape. Plans are afoot to really mark the town's annual celebration with colourful banners, bunting and other festive decorations. Special attention will be paid to venues, so they should be highly visible and hard to miss! On Sunday 17th of
March, High Street Yackandandah will be closed from the Public Hall to
the Yackandandah Hotel. The closed street area will include a craft market
and farmer's market with a better spread of stalls. The local traders,
food vendors and buskers will be adding to the village atmosphere and
provide sommething for everyone. Tickets
