Buskers Competition

Last year busker's competition was such a success we’ve decided to have another one. Prizes will be awarded again this year, in the junior and senior sections and winners will be invited to perform at the open mike venue. So, bring your instrument, juggling balls, unicycle, fire sticks etc., enjoy the atmosphere, make a few dollars and maybe even win a prize. You must register for the competition by contacting Geoff Simmons 02 6027 1742 or gsimmons@dragnet.com.au. Here are the rules for the competition.

Sponsorship

Do you have money to spare to support important cultural and community events? Do you have a product or business that you would like to advertise? Yes, then why not support the Yackandandah Folk Festival..We will await your cheque in the mail or please contact Sharon McCarten on (02) 6027 1888 who will happily talk to you about what we can offer sponsors.

Volunteers

Can you offer an hour or so of your time on the weekend of the festival to check wrist bands, stage manage, run around pulling your hair out ( no that’s our job)? Don’t be shy – send us an email or ring Kirsten (02) 6027 1447

Billets

This is your opportunity to mix with the not so rich but getting famous. Do you have a spare room or flat that you would be happy to let some of our performers stay in. Would you like to find out more about it before you commit? Send us an email or ring Sharon or Kirsten.
