Whew!

We’ve been able to catch our breath and are now onto organizing the 2004 festival. This year’s festival was an exciting and fun event, best one yet everyone has been telling us. We had great music, beautiful sunny weather and people everywhere, enjoying everything the festival had to offer. Have a look at this year’s photos in the photo gallery.

Great feedback

We’ve had some great feedback from our performers:

“I found it a very friendly festival and unlike some "big" festivals enjoyed being able to catchup more with other performers and locals for a chat or a session. The town setting and great cafes were a big plus for me. I liked the market color and energy on Sunday even if didn’t see much of it except while roving past !”

“...thank you for a wonderful weekend of hospitality and pure fun. We all had a brilliant time and met a big batch of very fine people and fellow musicians. It's a gorgeous setting too and I know we will look back on Yackandandah as the highlight of our trip. Keep the tradition going and please count on our coming back any time at all in the future...”

“thanks for making it such a great festival with all the fantastic hospitality. we've bumped into quite a few of the artists while we were in melbourne and had a bit of a jam, awesome to meet so many great people in one little spot. keep up the great work...”

And some of the comments from festival goers:

“Excellent, Food’s Great, Nice and Relaxing Day”

“Been there 4 times and its getting better all the time”

“We love the balance between local, national and international talent – Another Great Festival”

“We’ve both enjoyed the festival as audience and as performers, new stage location – Excellent”

Next year’s festival dates are 12th, 13th & 14th March 2004.
