Folk Festival Volunteers

Welcome to the volunteering part of the Yackandandah Folk Festival. Volunteers are integral to the running of our Festival and in contributing a few hours of your time, you become part of the community that enables this Festival to happen.

For those who have volunteered before, thanks for signing up again, and for those who are first timers, welcome.  We are asking volunteers to commit to at least 2 hours work over the Festival and if you are wanting to do more, even better.   In 2010 there are a few new initiatives which include benefits for volunteering a certain amount of time;

  1. Volunteers who complete six hours of volunteer work will receive a half price weekend festival ticketVolunteers who complete twelve hours of volunteer work will receive a free weekend festival ticket
  2. One  free drink from the Festival bar for any volunteer
  3. New Yackandandah Folk Festival volunteer vests
  4. Exclusive Festival get togethers before the Festival on Thursday night 18 March 2010, with food and music to get into the spirit, and to inform you of the requirements for being a volunteer and immediately after the Festival on Sunday 21 March 2010 at 6pm in the Court House.
